PUBLIC HEARING

OFFICIAL NOTICE

Notice is hereby given that the Mayor and City Council, along with the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Whitesburg, will hold public hearings on October 24, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. and on November 7, 2024, at 5:45 p.m. in the Council Chambers located at 50 Booster Field Drive, Whitesburg, GA. The purpose of these hearings is to gather public input regarding the City’s intent to consider changes to its zoning ordinance. This includes regulations on solar and wind energy systems, as well as modifications to permissible uses within the City’s zoning districts including the addition and regulation of Campground/RV Parks, Data Centers, Mobile Home Parks, Solar Energy and Wind Energy Systems. All interested parties and citizens are invited to attend and participate in these important discussions.
